Get a better understanding of different types of headaches and how to treat them.

Everyone has probably experienced a headache at least once in their life. Statistically, headaches are one of the most common reasons we visit the doctor or pharmacy. Unfortunately, painkillers are non-specific, only cure symptoms, and their effect is short-lived and burdened with numerous side effects. When taken too often, they can even lead to the development of the so-called chronic headache, in which case they prove to be ineffective.
As a result, more and more people affected by this problem are turning to massage therapists, physiotherapists and osteopaths for help.
What can we do in this area?
There are many options for therapy, but as always in our work, the effectiveness of treatment depends primarily on the correct diagnosis – you need to answer the question “WHY does my head hurt?”.
Not all headaches are migraines! Much more often they have a mechanical basis, such as limited mobility of the neck/neck, thoracic spine, collarbones and ribs, increased tension in the neck and neck muscles, in the face, or incorrect head positioning.

“Dear Anja,

I attended an ADHD massage course in the fall with you and jI just want to tell you that it has worked incredibly well for my son. I gave him a massage every day for 14 days after the course and he fell asleep within 20 minutes. I gave him an arousal lowering massage followed by a pressure massage. Then it became every second – third day – and now a couple of times a week – rarely I give him arousal lowering massage, otherwise we can “make do” with pressure massage/ball massage. It’s been incredibly effective and makes so much sense – we don’t have the same conflicts in the evenings as we did before – Viggo is asleep every night at 8.30pm – it’s amazing!

I just want to say thank you for your great way of imparting your knowledge and I am really so glad that I found your course.
