Clinic Guidance and basic healthcare legislation
This course is designed for practitioners seeking a clear and practical introduction to relevant regulations. We cover topics such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), payroll tax (for VAT-exempt healthcare services), healthcare legislation, the Danish marketing act, entrepreneurship, and more.
Rather than sifting through overwhelming volumes of complex laws, regulations, and circulars, we’ve done the hard work for you. The course distills the essential information, giving you a concise overview of the rules and requirements for healthcare practitioners – perfect for those planning to open their own clinic or already running one and wanting to stay fully up to date.
Additionally, this course is a requirement for becoming a RAB (Registered Alternative Practitioner) in Denmark.
In this Clinic Guidance course, you will learn about the following subjects:
- How to become a RAB and VAT free therapist
- Basic healthcare legislation including the authorization law
- Rules for good clinical practice
- GDPR rules
- How to make client records
- Marketing of healthcare services
- How to start a business
During the course you there will be some test questions to answers before you can continue. In the end there is a little exam, you have to pass to receive your diploma.
The course is e-learning, but you will always be able to write your teacher if you have any questions.
To become RAB-certified, you must be a member of a professional association. You can contact the Danish Association of Practitioners (Dansk Behandlerforbund) for more information.
