Basic health education
For those who want to become a Registered Alternative Practitioner (RAB) and/or VAT exempt.
To obtain Registered Alternative Practitioner (RAB ) status and/or VAT exemption, you must have completed at least 660 lessons in specific subject areas. Many therapist training programs do not reach this number of hours, which means that many therapists have to supplement their training with additional courses.
Although the requirements for RAB registration and VAT exemption are not completely identical, we have put together a training program that ensures you meet both sets of requirements. You can read more about the differences – and the benefits of being RAB-registered and VAT exempt – HERE.
That’s why we offer both basic healthcare training and all the necessary subjects as standalone courses. If you need more courses, it’s best to choose our package solution, which guides you through the entire program in a simple and economical way.
Please note that you must also have at least 250 lessons in your primary treatment modality. For example, if you are a massage therapist and need hours to fulfill this requirement, we offer a special course that covers these lessons. Read more HERE.

Our Basic Healthcare Education is for all types of healthcare professionals and consists of a total of 410 hours divided into the following subjects:
Anatomy & Physiology
200 lessons of basic training where you learn about the body and its systems.
Pathology & Pharmacology
100 lessons where you learn about common diseases, focusing on observations, symptoms and causes.
Psychology
50 health psychology lessons for alternative practitioners focusing on communication, stress & psychosomatics
Other alternative therapies
To become a RAB, you must have had training in Other Alternative Treatment, where you get 50 lessons where you gain knowledge of different forms of treatment and insight into Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Clinic guidance & Basic health legislation
10 lessons where you’ll learn about everything else that goes into being a practitioner other than the treatment itself. You’ll also learn about basic healthcare and marketing legislation.
Primary treatment modality – Massage
200 lessons where you learn different techniques, how to take care of your body and more
Basic healthcare education
All courses are taken as E-Learning, which means you can do it at your own pace. However, you have a maximum of 2 years to complete the courses.
Price DKK 12.995,- incl. exam fees.
(If you don’t need all the courses, call for a price for the courses you want)
You can also choose to pay by installment plan of 4 installments of 3.500,- (total DKK 14.000,-)
If you take the courses individually, it costs a total of DKK 20.500,-
ATTENTION! However, you should expect to pay approx. 2.000,- for books (the books can usually also be found used)
VAT exemption package
All courses are taken as E-Learning/blended e-learning, which means you can do it at your own pace. However, you have a maximum of 2 years to complete the courses.
If you also need massage lessons – you can choose our VAT exemption package. Here you get the basic healthcare education plus 200 lessons Primary treatment form Massage, where you only need to attend 2 days at the school including exams.
It is a requirement that you already have a massage therapist education.
Price DKK 22.500,- incl. exam fees.
You can also choose to pay by installment plan of 6 installments of DKK 4.332,50 (total DKK 25.995,-)
