Blended e-learning continuing education for massage therapists – get the last hours for VAT exemption and/or RAB

Are you a trained massage therapist and need hours to obtain VAT exemption and/or RAB?

Then this blended e-learning training is tailor-made for you.

The course gives you a total of 200 lessons in Primary treatment modality: Massage. The training is aimed at your professional development as a practitioner, and you will learn new techniques, variations and methods that you can take directly into the clinic.

Flexible learning – combined with practice

Most of the course is online, so you can complete the training at your own pace and adapt it to your everyday life. Along the way, you’ll meet twice to combine theory and practice, practice techniques and ensure you’re well equipped to use your new knowledge.

Seminar

Seminars are held min. 4 times a year and you must attend 2 of them. When you sign up, you will receive dates for the upcoming seminars so you can choose which ones you want to attend and plan accordingly.

For whom?

This course is for those who already have an education as a massage therapist but need more professional hours to fulfill the VAT exemption requirement and the RAB requirement.

 

Startup

Individual start from November 1, 2025. You start when it suits you and study at your own pace. However, you have a maximum of 1 year to complete the program, which must be completed with an attendance exam.

Booking and record keeping

As a RAB and VAT-exempt practitioner, you are required to keep records of your customers. In this module you will learn how to keep a record of which treatments are VAT exempt.

Ethics around massage

You are the professional! That’s why knowledge and recommendations to the customer are important. When should we refer a customer? What is our most important task when processing and how do we find out? How do we receive and close a customer? The right meeting with the customer and tips for re-booking. How do we act ethically correct towards our customers? What are “goes” and “no goes”?

Working postures

We review correct working postures in relation to the challenges/injuries we may face as therapists.

Sports massage and injury prevention

  • Massage before and after training.

  • Specific grips for recovery and agility.

  • Cases (e.g. runners, cyclists, handball players).

Segment and zone-oriented massage

  • Massage techniques that work from the body segments.

  • Correlation between tension patterns and treatment.

  • Video course + practical cases.

Connective tissue and cupping massage

Connective tissue is found throughout the body and should be an essential part of any massage treatment. In this module you will learn why it is so important to keep your connective tissue flexible and learn how to use dynamic cupping in treatments.

Trigger point and deep tissue massage

  • Introducing and refining trigger point work.

  • Techniques for shoulders, neck, back and legs.

  • Online video + cases → face-to-face practice in attendance.

Specialization & immersion

  • Massage for specific groups: pregnant women, stress sufferers, elderly clients.

  • Expansion of treatments (e.g. facial massage, foot massage in addition to full body treatment).

  • Final case work.

Practical training

+ 14 days internship

+ 3 installments of Dkr. 1.500,- payable every 1st day for 3 months starting the first month after start.

as well as

14 days of school internship of 6 hours each, planned individually.

The internship consists of massaging customers, which also provides good training and learning in your education.
