This e-learning course has been developed for alternative practitioners who want a basic understanding of psychology and communication when working with clients.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a therapist, you work not only with the body, but also with the whole person. Many clients come in with tension, pain, stress, or imbalances that may be related to physical, mental, and emotional strain. That\u2019s why it\u2019s important to be able to create a safe environment, listen actively, and treat the client with respect, attentiveness, and professional awareness. <\/span><\/p>\n

In this course, you\u2019ll gain knowledge about basic communication, stress and life crises, positive psychology, cognitive psychology, as well as trauma-informed practice and emotional defenses. Among other things, you\u2019ll learn how clients may react differently under stress, how you, as a therapist, can support the client through a calm and professional approach, and how you can strengthen the therapist-client relationship. <\/span><\/p>\n

The course focuses specifically on how psychological insight can be applied in practice as a body therapist. The goal is not for you to work as a psychologist or therapist, but to help you better understand your clients\u2019 reactions, create a sense of safety in the treatment room, and tailor your communication and treatment to each individual client. <\/span><\/p>\n
